We are a small-batch, boutique apothecary based on the side of a mountain in North Wales, specializing in spagyric tinctures crafted from functional mushrooms.

Over the past five years, our family has dedicated itself to cultivating and foraging various fungi, refining our spagyric processes to create potent, high-quality extracts.

Our journey began in response to a deeply personal event—our twins experienced severe allergic reactions to the HPV vaccination at school, which led to one of them suffering from a compromised immune system. We now grow Lion’s Mane, Reishi, and Cordyceps in-house, using purpose-built tunnels and carefully selected substrates. For our wood-loving varieties, we use food-grade sawdust from two specific tree species—chosen based on the research of Nicholas Naeger, which highlights how tree species significantly impact beta-glucan content and other vital compounds. That’s why we never use generic sawdust from tree surgeons or hardwood fuel pellets, which are inconsistent and often contaminated.

we avoid using soy hulls even tho it would double the crop size, as they have been shown to negatively affect key compounds of interest. Additionally, most soy is GMO, and its cultivation is linked to deforestation and harmful chemical use—things we consciously choose to avoid.

fwng's apply the principles of spagyric alchemy to our functional mushrooms.Here's a simplified overview of our process:

♃ Separation: We separate the mushroom into its three alchemical principles: Mercury (spirit), Sulfur (soul), and Salt (body).

♄ Purification: Each principle undergoes purification.

The spirit (oil based compounds are extracted with organic grain alcohol)

The soul (water soluble compounds are extracted with medical grade distilled water)

Both these extractions are carried out with ultrasonic extraction rather than heat and pressure

The body (the remaining fungal matter after both extractions, through calcination.)
